William Green

William W. Green VII, 64 of Weedsport died Thursday January 9, 2014. With his family by his side, Bill passed after a long illness at his Green Street home.
Born in Auburn on October 10, 1949, he was the son of William W. Green VI and Violet M. Venutti Green. He was a graduate of Weedsport Central High School, and had previously been employed with Allied Chemical, of Syracuse. In more recent years he had worked as a carpenter doing construction work. He was a gifted woodworker who enjoyed building things. He enjoyed camping, NASCAR, and doing puzzles. He was a member of the Swietoniowski & Kopeczek Post 1324 of the American Legion and had been a member of the VFW Post of Port Byron.
Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon Dreher Green, his daughter Sheila Blumer, a son William W. Green VIII, four grandchildren Bailey, Connor, Paige and Troy, a sister Etta Fritsch and her husband Geoffery" Glyn" all of Weedsport. Along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 6pm in White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Dr. Weedsport. Friends are invited to call on the family Sunday from 4-6 prior to services.
Contributions in memory of Mr. Green may be made to the Weedsport Fire Department Rescue Squad.
